Description
Superseal 742 is a low strength high viscosity anaerobic sealant, or gasket maker. This grade provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly of the mating flange faces. AS30 is also thixotropic, which reduces the migration of the liquid adhesive following application onto the component surface. Superseal 935 can be used with or without pre-cut pre formed gaskets.
Typical applications include:
- Sealing the joint between two metal flanges
- Sealing valve covers
- Sealing water-pumps
- Bonding and sealing gearbox casings.
